Well Caleb has. He is away for the weekend which leaves me at home lonely and bored...so naturally a lot of cleaning gets done. I found a gap bag hidden away in our front closet, so I pulled it out, looked inside, and saw a pair of gray men's dress pants. My first thoughts were:1. Caleb bought these pants, put them here, and forgot about them OR
2. Caleb is hiding these secret pants from me!
So I got them out and checked the date on the receipt, they were bought Feb 13th...day before Valentine's Day. So now I had a better idea of what might be going on. He went out shopping for me, found something for himself, and then felt bad about it.
So he called later on that night and I straight up asked him..."Caleb, do you have a pair of secret pants?!" his reply? "Yes!! Yes I totally do!" Turns out he did feel bad about buying himself something. He couldn't tell me on Valentines day, so he was waiting for the opportune time, and the longer he waited...the more he realized that he did have a secret pair of pants! and it would be weirder and weirder to bring it up.
I laughed so hard I cried.
I love my husband! I love that he makes me laugh...really laugh....everyday.
I miss you Caleb!
