Our first stop on our date night....drum roll please....Canadian Tire!
Caleb has been faithfully waking up WAY too early to do P90X, and decided that for each week he completes he is going to reward himself.
His two rewards for the first two weeks were an herb garden, and winter boots. Pretty exciting stuff! ha, but really he's been obssessing over growing delicious fresh herbs for us to cook with, and we finally have a window with enough light to do it in. So hopefully it works out.
we then went to an iconic Calgary drive-in, Peters!
We got milkshakes, i got pina colada and caleb got rum and butter, and a box of fries to share. Their milkshakes are huge! It was so delicious.
We went and "parked" (ha ha) at a spot overlooking the city and drank our milkshakes. Living in Calgary drives me crazy at times, but I have to say the city did look beautiful that night.
Horray for date night!

we had a date night too!! first one since last March... can you believe that? it was short - started at Famoso (you need to go - there's one in Calgary on 4th street), and ended at... SUPERSTORE! oh, fun. one day we'll have a real date! but now i want peter's... we may be coming down soon! call me this week, ok? we'll set up a date!
